aftercare

Color is very dark during the first 5 – 7 days. It will fade up to 50% thereafter. If you think the colour is too dark, do not try to remove it yourself! DO NOT PICK AT HEALING SKIN OR SCABS. Healing is fully completed only after 28 days and this is when we perform a color refresh/correction that is included in the cost of the initial treatment.  Correction is done after a month because between 10 and 15% of drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment.

30 MINUTES AFTER TREATMENT:

1. Wash hands.

2. Wipe brows with provided cleaning wipe to remove all cream, without rubbing or stretching skin.

3. Apply a thin layer of provided cream.

REPEAT STEPS 1-3 EVERY 2 HOURS UNTIL BEDTIME ON TREATMENT DAY.

FOR 7 DAYS:

Wash face as normal, avoiding brows.  Clean brows as follows whenever you wash your face (1 or 2 times per day):

1. Moisten cotton pads with a very small amount of warm water and rub in a small amount of Lactacyd (or children’s soap).

2. Gently wipe brows without rubbing or stretching skin.  Wipe clean with warm water on cotton pad and pat dry.

3. Apply a very thin layer of provided cream.

-> No makeup, soaps, lotions or anything except provided cream on brow area.

-> Avoid water on the brows as much as possible during the first 7-10 days following treatment. Only get the brows lightly wet during cleaning for the first 7 days. This can be achieved by using a damp cotton pad and mild soap only, on the brow area, once per day. Then apply provided aftercare cream.

-> No running water during showering, swimming or jacuzzis. No excessive steam exposure.

**Sun & Sweat Aftercare Cream is available for purchase (and necessary) for those that train or sweat heavily, as well as those that plan to be exposed to the sun immediately after treatment.**
