A form of semi-permanent makeup that re-creates the look of natural eyebrows, microblading is perfect for overplucked or thinning brows, or for those who are looking to define, darken or reshape the existing brows.
Microblading originated in China goes by many names: cosmetic tattooing, semi-permanent makeup, eyebrow embroidery, microstroking and even “the Japanese Method."
Technically, microblading is the process of implanting pigment into the superficial layers of the skin via ultra-fine, sterile, disposable needles. Each individual hairstroke is hand drawn by the artist and the resulting lines resemble real hair.
Unlike traditional makeup "tattooing," microblading is softer and more subtle. Traditional tattooing uses ink often containing iron oxide or metals, whereas microblading uses pigments that maintain their color and gently fade over time.
